July in Belgrade – the most vibrant month

July in Belgrade is one of the most vibrant months. Hot summer days are here! Even though the heat is sometimes unbearable, we cope by going to pools, our lake, or even taking a day trip to nature or off-the-beaten-path places.

Now that you are here, you are wondering how to experience the city like a real Belgrader. And, as always, we are here to give you the best tips!

Nightlife in July in Belgrade

Now when the nightlife is “back in town” you can see why Belgrade the party capital of Europe. No matter which day of the week you choose, there is a party taking place somewhere. Some of them are even starting as early as 19:00, so you can hop off to the nearby splav and party until dawn. In the summertime, riverbanks with splavs – floating clubs on the water – are the hotspot of nightlife. If you are a fan of rock music, then Tasmajdan is a place to be this July in Belgrade.

Daytime activities

If you want to be fit even on the vacation, there are different places where you can run. You can even go to the gym. Without any doubt, we recommend pools, as there is no better way to cool down on a hot summer day. And of course, Belgrade is a city on two rivers! Hence, there are plenty of places where you can swim, such as Lido Beach on Great War Island, exactly at the confluence of the Sava to the Danube.

You can just walk around Belgrade – or take public transport. From vibrant boulevards to impressive bridges, you will encounter charming places such as old craft shops, interesting murals. or even zoo. If this July in Belgrade is too hot for you to be outside or in parks, there are plenty of indoor activities. Visit our popular museums, try traditional dishes in excellent restaurants, or just shop until you drop in malls such as the new Galerija Belgrade.

Day trips outside of the city

Just within one hour from Belgrade, there are plenty of interesting and off-the-beaten places where you can spend a day. Fruskogorska Lugarnica, Jazak, and lake Besenovo can be easily visited within a day. Also, you can visit places such as picnic place Grza, emperor city of Sremska Mitrovica, the cradle of civilization – Vinča. or some of the numerous mysterious abandoned places.
