Monument to the Unknown Hero
One of Avala’s most iconic landmarks is the Monument to the Unknown Hero, a mausoleum dedicated to an unnamed World War I soldier. Reached by a series of steps, this monument not only commemorates the fallen but also provides visitors with a breathtaking view of Belgrade, Vojvodina, and Ĺ umadija.
The Tower of Avala
