Recently, the first penguinarium opened in Belgrade, where for now there are 17 penguins who came to our capital from gardens from Vienna and the United Arab Emirates.
In the penguin, there are places for 40 penguins, and the current 17 are humbold penguins, living on the coasts of Chile and Peru in South America.
This will certainly be the biggest attraction in the zoo in the coming period.
A special penguinarium was built for these birds. The construction lasted almost three years.
The director of the zoo said that Belgrade has “one of the most modern places for penguins in Europe”.
The penguinarium has an outdoor swimming pool with two separate parts, as well as an enclosed section where animals are clogged during weathering or cleaning.
