The fifth anniversary of the Ukus fest will be held on March 23 and 24 in the Kombank Hall named Feel the taste of spring. Visitors will be presented with over 80 cheese exhibitors, renowned wines, homemade brandy, cured meat products, sweets, jams, ajvara, and will be presented to the exemplary producers from Serbia and the region.
For the first time cheese with gold and new natural spices will be exhibited, especially from Istra will be olive oil, and from Stara planina unique teas.
The country guest at this two-day festival is Egypt which comes with its traditional specialties such as Egyptian rice, dried beans, baklava, urma and nuts with honey.
All those who are engaged will be able to participate in the quiz of knowledge about food, and they are best expected of numerous surprises.
The festival takes place between 10 and 19h. and the entrance is free.
