ArtLink festival 2021 is starting tomorrow, on June 15th in Belgrade. This year, it will take place in different cities, starting from Belgrade, then moving to Golubac, Pirot, and Novi Sad. The events will be happening until September 11, so we have the entire summer to participate in this amazing festival.

The unique art festival concept of “Festival Cities & Artists for Nature” happens through musical performances and synergy with cultural heritage and nature. ArtLink festival gathers the most talented artists from Serbia and the region, as well as international guests. The goal is to involve local artists, communities, institutions, and businesses in order to raise awareness of the importance and value of environmental conservation.

ArtLink festival – events

The festival consists of concerts, workshops, and exhibitions. The full schedule is available here.

The grand opening will take place on June 15th at 20:00 at Belgrade Fortress. You will have a chance to listen to the RTS Symphony Orchestra, one of the most representative ensembles in Serbia. It performs under the auspices of RTS – Radio Television of Serbia, since 1937. Just imagine listening to the classics between the walls of the Kalemegdan fortress! It will definitely be a memorable experience!

Concerts will take place at Kalemegdan fortress and Kolarac endowment.

After performing in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Vienna’s Musikverein, and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, Danish cellist Toke Møldrup will entertain Belgrade’s audience on June 16th in Kolarac.

Violinist Stefan Milenković – Serbia’s Artist of the Century, is a star of the ArtLink festival. He performed for U.S. President Ronald Reagan at a Christmas concert in Washington, DC, when he was only 10 years old. This time, we are honored that he will play for us too – on a 1783 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin. We already know that the demand for tickets for Kolarac on August 31st will be huge. So hurry up and get your tickets on time!
