In the last three and a half years, Belgrade has positioned itself as the most attractive tourist destination in this part of Europe, thanks to the national airline “Air Serbia”, and thanks to the numerous amenities that have been made available to tourists. The number of tourists has been steadily increasing, and the statistical trend shows that this will continue to be the case.

Belgrade offers everyone a unique experience, rich cultural offer, attractive locations, as well as numerous manifestations and festivals. Belgrade is known as a city whose rich calendar of events is attracted by an increasing number of domestic and foreign guests.

In 2016, nearly one million tourists and two million registered overnight stays were registered in Belgrade, which is a record indicator for Belgrade’s tourism.

In just three years, important factors for the success of the capital as a tourist destination have almost doubled – and the top tourists by countries from which they come to our city are:

Turkey
Croatia
Greece
Slovenia
Bulgaria

Also, the 95th hotel in Belgrade has been opened these days, which is 30% more than it was just three and a half years ago. Most of them were hotels with four stars, and the opening of new hotels of world famous chains was announced, which will enable Belgrade to respond to the most demanding requirements of the modern tourist market.
